How to remove vomit from carpet

To remove a vomit accident from your carpet, mix up one of the following spot removers and then follow the process below:

Ammonia Solution: One tablespoon of clear ammonia to one-half cup of water

Laundry Solution: One teaspoon of laundry detergent to one cup of water

White Vinegar Solution: one-third cup of white distilled vinegar to two-thirds cup of water

Directions

1. Clean up vomit from carpet first
2. Apply laundry detergent solution, clean, and then blot
3. Rinse with tap water. Blot again
4. Apply white vinegar solution and blot
5. Rinse with tap water and blot dry
